Double podium for Korax in the last round of the Internationals of Italy of mx! Last Sunday in fact, on the sandy track of Ottobiano in the North of Italy, Nick Kouwenberg and Jens Getteman, both racing for Honda Jtech team,finished first and third in the MX2 class.
The two Korax riders are in excellent position in the classification of the championship too where Getteman graduated vicechampion and Kouwenberg third overall.
Who has instead to recriminate is the third man of the team, which is Vsevolod Brylyakov. For a bad crash he could not show in fact his potential after had the best lap time during the qualified heat.
On a good track notwithstanding the snow fallen during the night, also the other Korax athletes battled in a great way, so in the MX2 class we find 3 Korax riders in the top ten, 5 if we consider the top 15, and even 6 entering the top 20 and gaining so the access to the Elite superfinal.
Superfinal saw Pippo Bertuzzo too finishing 17th in the MX1 class with his 450 Yamaha
Going instead in order in the MX2 there is to report the 10th place of Ivo Monticelli, that after missing the previous race, profited to continue his preparation for the World Championship. Good race also for the European GP riders SImone Furlotti and Stefano Pezzuto, finishing 13th and 14th, while Viecheslav Golovkin with his 20th position got him too the final continuing to improve his shape waiting for the first GP.
