Il GP di motocross di Maggiora del 15 giugno 2014, ne siamo certi, rimarrà indelebile nella memoria di Thomas Olsen. E' proprio infatti nel GP d'Italia corsosi lo scorso weekend sullo storico e spettacolare circuito del Mottaccio del Balmone che Thomas ha conquistato la sua prima vittoria in carriera di una prova di campionato europeo MX2. Sedici anni, di nazionalità danese, il pilota del team Honda Jtech aveva già dimostrato un ottimo potenziale fin da inzio stagione quando allo Starcross di Mantova si era aggiudicato il terzo gradino del podio. Ora grazie ai due terzi posti che gli hanno garantito questa meritata vittoria, anche nella classifica di campionato Thomas ha fatto una bel salto in avanti passando dalla settima alla terza posizione a pari merito con Van Doninck.
Anche per Korax questa vittoria rappresenta un risultato importantissimo, la prima vittoria di una gara titolata internazionale. Congratulazioni a Thomas ed al team Honda Jtech che hanno lavorato sodo per arrivare a questo risultato. Davvero bravi a tutti!
The June 15th Maggiora Motocross GP we are certain will forever remain in Thomas Olsen's memory. This past weekend in fact, in the Italian GP on one of the most spectacular circuits, the Mottaccio del Balmone race track, Olsen acquired his first career victory in a MX2 European Championship GP. The 16 year old Danish Honda Jtech Team rider had already demonstrated his amazing potential from the beginning of this year, when he achieved the third place position on the podium at the Mantova Starcross. Now thanks to the two 3rd place finishes, Olsen not only secured this merited victory but made a big leap in regards to the classification ranking, moving up to the 3rd position with same points as Van Doninck, from his previous 7th position.
This victory also represents a very important result for Korax, this is infact the first victory from an international titled race.
