PODIUM FOR STEPHEN RUBINI AND NICK KOUWENBERG AT THE GENOA SX

13/11/2015

Stephen Rubini from Manosque (France), Jean Michel Bayle's birthplace, unveiled his collaboration with Korax and KTM Silver Action team with a deserved podium in the 125cc class last Saturday at the Genoa-Italy SX, while Nick Kouwenberg stepped up on the podium too finishing 2nd on the MX2 class after last year victory.
The young French Korax rider (picture on the left) next year will race the entire European championship 125 with the KTM Silver Action team colors. He started the evening with a spectacular crash on the whoops during qualifying, but he did not lose his nerve and from last place moved up to 4th place. Much better was the main event, conducted without risk, which rewarded him with a deserved second place. Good job too for Nicola Bertuzzi, finished 3rd in the 125 class. Him too will defend Korax and KTM Silver Action team colors in next year European 250. Another good result also for Nick Kouwenberg (picture on the right with his mechanic) and his Honda Jtech. Nick always took very good start, getting the Just1 holeshot award too and going so to finish 2nd the evening. The Dutch rider, fresh from a SX victory in Germany the weekend before, after the long season that saw him crowned European MX2 champion, is racing now numerous winter supercross. We will see both Jtech and Silver Action riders again in action at the EICMA supercross in Milan in one week.
