Last sunday, on the legendary track at Glen Helen not far from Los Angeles, Lauren Hammond, currently winning the women's category of the Triple Crown, has started off on the right foot with her new collaboration with Korax. In this mini championship held in California on three rounds (thus the name of the Triple Crown) also attended several young pros that are trying to find a spot in one of the best teams, even Mitch Payton, owner of Procircuit, was in fact at the event. Lauren, who had already won the first race held in Milestone, is now leading the championship and will play the title in the last race on December 14th in Perris.
Lets get to know a little more about our Korax girl.
Californian, born in Anaheim 18 years ago, Lauren is a good student who races with a Honda Procircuit Factory Support Team. In 2012 she was champion in the Amateur Arenacross West Coast Championship and 9th place in Mammoth national 2013.
For the next year her goals are to qualify for the Loretta Lynn and finish in the top three of the Mammoth MX Mountains, and of course win as many races as possible of championships she will take part in.
Congratulations on the victory Lauren, and welcome to Korax, we are cheering for you!!!
