KORAX AND LAUREN HAMMOND AT THE MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN MX

Mammoth Lake is a beautiful mountain resort located in the eastern part of the Sierra Nevada in California. As well as the ski resort, the place is also famous for the important annual event with the "Mammoth Mountain Motocross". This motocross race event started in 1968 and is one of the oldest event in the States. In the past had competed riders likes Bob Hannah, David Bailey, Jeff Ward, Johnny O'mara, Ricky Johnson, Ron Lechien up to more recently to Ryan Villopoto, James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael, Eli Tomac and many other. This year, for the first time, also Korax was at the event which is also one of the most important events for amateur riders. Congratulations therefore to Korax rider Lauren Hammond that on her Honda finished 11th of 42 girls in her category and also allowed to Korax to be at the start of such a prestigious race. After injuries during the Supercross Scotty Wennerstrom and Ozzy Barbaree are still recovering although the latter should be back at Red Bud this week end. We look forward to the track guys !!!
